The day before Audrey's birthday, my mom and I took Audrey to The American Girl Store for a day full of fun, and to begin the birthday celebrations! We had no idea what we were in store for...
I didn't have any intentions of buying Audrey ANOTHER baby doll, so we dressed up one of her most favorite babies, did her hair, got the baby's diaper bag packed, and we were ready to check out this fun experience! We really just had plans to eat at the restaurant and check everything out!

The American Girl Store was such a fun experience, even for me! I loved baby doll's growing up, and I wanted Audrey to have everything in this store! We fell in love with this place immediately! Once we found the Bitty Baby section of this HUGE place, Audrey was hooked! I could not leave that store without buying Audrey her very own Bitty Baby! We picked the one out that looked mostly like Audrey! I let Audrey pick out one more thing for her new baby, and she wanted her to have a food processor to make the baby's food. It was so cute! It came with the bowl, fruit, and spoon too! There are hundreds of accessories, clothes, and tons more dolls to choose from. I can see this being a tradition that we do from now on, and adding to Audrey's American Girl collection every year!
After we shopped downstairs, we headed upstairs to the restaurant! The sweet lady checking us out, took Audrey's new baby out of the box for her, so she could hold her right away. When you get sat at your table, your baby gets her own spot too. Audrey couldn't take her eyes off of her new baby, and the fact that she was sitting at the table with her! They sure know how to do it up right here!

What should I have?Let me tell you, the food at this place was REALLY good! I guess it should be for how much it cost, but I was VERY impressed!
Audrey got her very own pink lemonade, and so did her baby!
So, again, we were only coming here to have lunch, but my mom see's these birthday crowns. She asked our waiter why Audrey didn't get one of those? He proceeds to say, "well that is part of the birthday package." My mom said, "well we want the birthday package too!" What? So, Audrey and her baby got a birthday crown, a birthday cake and ice cream, and a goody bag filled with stickers, balloons, a birthday shirt for the baby, etc...Audrey was in Heaven!

We all had so much fun at The American Girl Store! I'm so glad we were able to have this experience with Audrey at this age because she was sooo into it! We can't wait to go back, and continue to add to Little Missy's American Girl collection! Thank you Mamaw for treating us to a special day!
