Sunday Fun

Since Miss Audrey is now pulling up on EVERYTHING...this is her new favorite thing! She loves looking out the window with the doggies! She just cracks us up!

Super Fun Saturday

Yesterday was such a fun and busy day! Audrey and I picked up my mom at 10:30 and headed to Holiday Magic. We stopped at On The Border for lunch before the shopping began. Audrey reading the menu deciding what she wants to eat for lunch...even if it is upside down, and lovin on Mamaw before we head out for some shopping!

We saw a ton of people we knew, so we ended up doing more talking than shopping, but we still had a great time at Holiday Magic! We saw our sweet friends, Patty, Carlie, and Miss Avery...Avery is 2 months older than Audrey and already walking...Avery was showing Audrey how it is done!

After our shopping day was done, we went and picked Curtis up, and met his mom and grandfather at Fuzzy's for dinner!Check out Audrey's spread of food...she didn't want any part of it...she kept eating little tiny pieces of meat Curtis was feeding her. I think we are heading into the stage of less baby food and more big people food...that makes me very nervous!

"Hold on Mamaw...let me get ready!"
"Okay, now!"Audrey was hamming it up last night...I'm not sure why because she didn't sleep much at all yesterday...maybe it was the 3 mini M&M's Mamaw fed her...Audrey was having a blast with her Nana and Papa...she was just hilarious! We had such a great day getting to spend time with our family!

Bathtub Reminiscing...

For some reason I can really tell the growth and changes of Audrey by looking back at her bathtub pictures. I'm going to take you back on memory lane with me, so you can see what I am talking about... 1 week old... long, but TINY baby girl... 2 weeks old and 1st real bath... 2 1/2 months old and starting to see some personality and leg rolls... 5 months old and outgrowing this little tub... 6 months old and lovin her new pink ducky tub... And look at her now...8 months old, sitting in an open tub all by herself and playing with some bigger toys. The water is not deep at all, but I can't believe she doesn't need a little baby tub anymore. This truly shows me how big she really is getting and how much she is changing. It makes me a little sad...

Audrey's 1st Halloween

Audrey's 1st Halloween was a hit and so much fun! She was such a trooper wearing her costume and the weather could not have been more perfect to enjoy the day with our girl! Here is how it all started:
Last weekend Audrey helped me stuff my students' treat bags. I won't be able to do that again, but she enjoyed shaking all the candy around!Thursday night Curtis just needed some affirmation that she was going to wear the head part of her costume. We did a little dress rehearsal! She did great, even though this is what she really thought of the whole head piece!

Friday began all the fun festivities! Audrey got to spend a few hours with me at school to participate in the dress-up parade! She was definately the hit of the day and she did great!Saturday during the day we took Audrey to do her newest favorite thing...swingin at the park! It was such a beautiful day, we took advantage, and headed out for a nice walk and some swinging time before all the evening fun began! Audrey loves being outside and we are all loving this great weather!

Now for the evening festivities to begin...We headed first to trick-or-treat at Mamaw's house! Mamaw had a surprise waiting for Audrey! "Can I have this please?" Thank you Mamaw for all of my goodies!

Now off to the next stop...a visit to Nana and Papaw's. They loved seeing their flower girl all dressed up! Such a big girl!

Then we met Katie, Brandon, and Briley at Spring Creek for dinner before we headed off to the Fall Festival at Rush Creek Church! The festival was so much fun and the weather was perfect for some outdoor activities. Audrey just enjoyed riding around in her stroller and watching Briley jump in all the bounce houses. She was in the best mood and we all had a great time! "Come hold my hand Briley!" Briley was Clifford The Big Red Dog with the Daisy! "This is so much fun Mom!"

It was starting to get dark and we knew we still needed to make one more stop, so we left the festival and headed to visit Grandpa! Grandpa loved seeing Audrey in her flower costume! When we finally got home around 8:00, Audrey was pretty much beat! We wanted to take her around to a few of our neighbors, but we didn't make it this year...it was just too late, and we had already had a very busy night. We will definately be doing it next year! Audrey had such a great 1st Halloween! One more first has past, but we still have more very exciting one's to come!

Audrey is 8 Months Old

Well, another month has past and I just can't believe how big Miss Audrey is getting! She amazes us and makes us light up each and everyday! Everyday she does new things and makes us just crack up.
She is still on the best schedule and is a great sleeper and eater. We try new foods often and she is even eating a few big people foods, like mashed potatoes, fries, and bread...anything that will pretty much disolve in her mouth.
She is constantly on the move and never seems to stop. She isn't officially crawling, but she scoots on her belly very fast and gets anywhere she needs to be by army crawling...or as Curtis likes to say, "Crawling in the woods like Grandpa!" She will get up on all 4's and rock, maybe put one leg up, but then she just falls back down. She can stand up holding onto something with some support. She loves to walk with your hands, and she seems to be getting better at that everyday. Oma wonders if she will skip the whole crawling faze and just start walking...I'm not sure I'm ready for that! I find myself constantly vacuming, sweeping, and making sure that nothing is in her little arms' reach! We haven't officially child-proofed anything yet, but we are ready because we know it will be very soon!
She is very interactive with the dogs and loves their attention! She seems to love everybody, and she goes to anyone...I'm so glad for that! She is an overall happy, energetic, and brilliant little baby! I can't wait to see what new things she will be doing and saying these next few months. She goes to the pediatrician for her 9 month visit, so I will have all new stats then!
A few new pics... Pretty girl in her church outfit
Enjoying a relaxing afternoon at Mamaw's house
